All seemed OK except when I came to use it one of the bulbs supplied was blown and the other pulsed like a strobe light - a bit disconcerting in a dark anchorage with this thing flashing overhead all night. I discovered the light sensor inside the housing needs careful positioning otherwise the light from the bulb activates it and turns it off for it to immediately come on again and so on and so on.

Dear Michael,
I'm sorry to hear one of the bulbs was blown, we have put a replacement in the post to you today. As for the strobing, we have had this issue with a couple of lights. It sometimes happens at dusk, when it's not quite dark, and as you have discovered, sometimes you need to angle the sensor away from the light a little more.
