Lewmar - Replacement Hatch Acrylics for Bavaria Yachts

I ordered 4 new replacement hatches to Oceanchandlery and received the shipment within 6 working days to my home in Switzerland. Additionally, what a nice surprise to find out when opening the packages that the acrylics were provided including gasket and closing handles.

The only store on earth, according to google, that had the items I needed. Communication was precise and delivery was prompt. I thoroughly recommend you to anyone.

The original main cabin skylight was very badly crazed and needed to be changed, but I was unsure whether I could do it and was initially afraid to order a replacement incase it didn't fit. As it happened it fitted a treat and with a little help from "U Tube" to figure out how the little black plastic cover bits over the hinge pin spacer came off, removing the hinged lid became an easy job. Removing the small screws that hold the two sides of the hinged lid together was achieved with judicious use of an impact driver, as the screws were initially obstinate. Once the side pieces had been separated, they were cleaned up, the new lens with seal supplied attached was slid into place and the side pieces resecured with the help of some gentle tapping with a rubber mallet.
I going to order another large hatch and one of the smaller ones plus some new side windows in due course as I now know they should be easy to fit.
